Nikos Zaharis<\/strong> je Direktor Centra za istra\u017eivanja jugoisto\u010dne Evrope (SEERC). Diplomirao je hemiju na Aristotelovom Univerzitetu u Solunu, koju je i magistrirao na Dr\u017eavnom Univerzitetu u Pensilvaniji. Ima preko 25 godina konsultantskog i menad\u017eerskog iskustva u radu sa privrednim organizacijama, kao i sa organizacijama iz javnog sektora, u oblastima upravljanja inovacijama i upravljanja okru\u017eenjem, ekonomskog i regionalnog razvoja u Gr\u010dkoj, kao i u brojnim isto\u010dno evropskim dr\u017eavama. Kao Direktor SEERC-a, usmeren je na istra\u017eivanja koja olak\u0161avaju odr\u017eiv razvoj u regionu, na kapacitete za izgradnju znanja i predupre\u0111ivanje odliva mozgova iz regiona, uz bavljenje najva\u017enijim dru\u0161tvenim izazovima sa kojima se region suo\u010dava.<\/p>
