Ljiljana Ćumura je doktorand na Fakultetu političkih nauka Univerziteta u Beogradu, Katedra za Socijalnu politiku i socijalni rad. Završila je master studije Sociologije (2014-2015) i Sociologije u socijalnoj zaštiti (2015-2016) na Univerzitetu u Novom Sadu. Usavršavala se u nekoliko oblasti: mirovno obrazovanje i upravljanje konfliktima, medijacija, upravljanje projektima, te omladinski rad i razvoj zajednice u Nemačkoj, Velikoj Britaniji, Švedskoj, Poljskoj i na Malti. Poseduje više od 20 godina iskustva u vladinom i nevladinom sektoru. (Ko)autor je i koordinator preko 100 domaćih i međunarodnih programa i projekata. Prisustvovala je brojnim domaćim i međunarodnim konferencijama i obukama i bila član tima na 20 velikih istraživanja. Dobitnica je više od deset nagrada u oblasti društvenih i humanističkih nauka. Objavila je nekoliko knjiga, priručnika, vodiča i preko stotinu tekstova, prikaza i naučnih radova na srpskom, engleskom, italijanskom i nemačkom jeziku. Drži obuke i predavanja širom Evrope. Fokus njenog istraživanja su: participativno akciono učenje i delovanja, obrazovanje i inovativne metode učenja, restorativna praksa, kao i teme iz oblasti integracija i migracija.
