Milica Todorovic is a PhD candidate and teaching assistant at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Geography, Department of Human Geography. Her scientific and research interests in the migration field are within international migration; the nexus between migration and development; youth migration; return migration; gender and migration. She is particularly interested in transnational migration (first and second generation) and diaspora engagement. She has been involved in research project in the field of migration supported by the Cabinet of the Minister without portfolio in charge of demography and population policy – Serbia. She has published several scientific papers and has participated in several scientific conferences in the migration field. In 2019, she has participated in the first regional migration winter school on “Diaspora for local development” in Belgrade.
